Company joins the Abramed Summit and highlights the use of data in diagnostic medicine
Hospitalar, Latin America’s leading healthcare event, will take place from May 19 to 22 in São Paulo, bringing together leaders and experts to discuss trends and challenges in the transformation of the sector.
In this context, Controllab will take part in the Abramed Summit, held on May 19 at Arena 1 of Plaza Hospitalar. The event, themed “Innovation, Quality and Data Intelligence: The Future of Diagnostic Medicine”, brings together experts to discuss pathways and challenges for the field.
Controllab in the program
The company will join the panel “Quality and Safety in Diagnostic Medicine” at 4:00 p.m. (BRT). On this occasion, Luiza Bottino, R&D Manager, will present the lecture “External quality control data: a pillar of quality and patient safety in diagnostic medicine.”
Following the presentation, Luiza will further explore the topic in a discussion with leading names in the sector, such as Carlos Eduardo Ferreira, head of the Abramed Clinical Analysis Technical Committee and Medical Manager of the Clinical Laboratory at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, and Guilherme Ferreira de Oliveira, president of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology/Laboratory Medicine (SBPC/ML). The session will be moderated by Dr. Wilson Shcolnik, member of Abramed’s Board of Directors and Institutional Relations Manager at Grupo Fleury.
Data and quality at the center of decision-making
The Summit discussions align with key topics currently shaping the sector, such as patient safety and the use of data to support clinical and strategic decisions. As healthcare continues to move in this direction, the need for robust data foundations to support reliable analyses becomes increasingly critical.
In this scenario, external quality control is established as an essential tool for monitoring laboratory performance and contributing to safer decision-making. Controllab stands out by transforming data into actionable insights for healthcare service routines.
The partnership with Abramed reinforces this movement. Data from tests conducted by Abramed’s associated laboratories are compiled through the Metricare data intelligence platform, developed and managed by Controllab. This collaboration enables the monitoring of relevant data, providing a clear and strategic view to support decision-making aimed at improving population health.
Commitment to advancing the sector
Controllab’s participation in the Summit reinforces its role alongside institutions and experts contributing to the advancement of quality and patient safety in Brazil, with a strong focus on the use of data to support diagnostic medicine.
