Controllab strengthens international cooperation for laboratory quality in Bolivia

Joint efforts contribute to advancing quality practices and increasing confidence in results used in healthcare.

For the fourth consecutive year, Controllab is participating in the PEEC-CENETROP International Quality Symposium, held in partnership with CENETROP (Centro Nacional de Enfermedades Tropicales), a leading public health institution in Bolivia.

The event will take place on May 28 and 29, 2026, bringing together healthcare professionals, specialists, and representatives to discuss diagnostic reliability, analytical quality, and the improvement of laboratory practices.

More than a technical event, the symposium strengthens the exchange of experiences and promotes technical-scientific collaboration across Latin America, while expanding access to discussions that directly impact the safety of laboratory results and patient care.

The program includes topics such as Internal and External Quality Control, method validation, result investigation, POCT (Point of Care Testing), and diagnostic applications in different areas of laboratory medicine.

Controllab specialists join the scientific program

The Controllab team is participating in the symposium with presentations on quality management, laboratory indicators, analytical performance, result investigation, and quality assurance of laboratory testing.

The company’s participation reinforces its collaboration with Latin American institutions and highlights the importance of international cooperation for the development of laboratory quality and confidence in results used in clinical decision-making.

CENETROP works to strengthen laboratory quality in Bolivia

Linked to the Ministry of Health and Sports of Bolivia, CENETROP operates in the fields of laboratory science, epidemiology, research, and education, while also promoting External Quality Assessment programs throughout the country.

Through PEEC-CENETROP, the institution supports the continuous improvement of Bolivian laboratories and initiatives related to the qualification of laboratory services.

The continuity of the partnership with Controllab reinforces the shared commitment to technical-scientific development and to strengthening laboratory quality across the region.
